INTERESTED BECOMING A BOARD MEMBER?

ACCORD is seeking passionate and community-minded leaders to join our Board of Directors. Board Members play a critical role in shaping strategy, supporting organizational growth, and advancing community peace and just initiative. This is an excellent leadership opportunity for professionals who want to make a meaningful impact on the Southern Tier.

Responsibilities include:

– Providing strategic guidance and nonprofit governance

– Support organizational sustainability and program development

– Review and approve budgets and fiscal policies

– Serve as a community ambassador for ACCORD

– Participate in board and committee meetings (monthly)

– Assist with fundraising, partnerships and advocacy

– Uphold ACCORD’s mission, integrity and values

We’re looking for professionals from all backgrounds, especially those with experise in:

Law/Mediation/Restorative Justice – Non-Profit Leadership – Finance or Accounting – Fundraising or Philanthropy – Education or Social Services – Human Resources – Government or Community Relations – Business or Strategic Planning

Ideal candidates are collaborative, mission driven, and committed to equity and restorative community solutions.
